Start your own Business – Home daycare

Hi guys, I hope you are well and welcome to my blog if you’re new here I’m so glad for you to be here. I’ve decided to post some ideas about having your own business and I’ll try to provide information as much as I can to help you. Today, I have a question for you; are you wondering how you can start your own childcare business and how to have a step-by-step plan. The average Home Child Care Provider salary in Canada is $29,250 per year or $15 per hour. If you hesitate to start your own business check out this book I found it inspiring

Some factors are really important to a successful launch of a childcare business:

  1. Funding: Your costs will depend on the number of children you are going to take care of. Things you should consider like supplies, insurance fees, alterations to your house, food for kids, and maybe you need extra staff considering staff to child ratio. I’d like to mention that you can get extra funding; how? federal governments often have grants and affordable loans you can use to start your home daycare. Check out this link
  2. Licensing: According to the Ontario Ministry of Education, unlicensed daycare providers can accommodate up to five children under the age of 13, including their own children under four years old, but no more than three children under the age of two. Licensed home daycare providers may accommodate a maximum of six children under 13 years old, including up to three children under two years of age.
  3. Insurance: As careful as you may be, accidents can happen — especially in child care. If they do, you will definitely want to have a good insurance plan to ensure that you are covered.
  4. Legal setup like choosing from a limited liability company, partnership, sole proprietorship, or a corporation. Sole proprietorships are owned and operated by one person. Thinking about a name and logo so try to choose something easy to remember and related to your business
  5. Marketing: One of the easiest ways is holding an open house so parents can visit and learn about your programs.

You can buy many toys, … by looking for a garage sale, Stuffs that you need for 4-6 kids with a budget under $1000 (I tried to choose affordable things):
