2. Decoding price tags: Walmart has its own price codes, and knowing them can save you a lot of money. If the price of an item ends with 7 (e.g. $9.97), it means that it hasn’t been discounted yet. If it ends with 5 (e.g. $8.65), this is because there was a previously applied discount. And if the price ends with 1 or 0 (e.g. $5.01), this means that the item is at its lowest price.
3. Cashback: You might not know that Walmart works well with certain cashback services; like Rakuten but there is more you would take advantage of earning cash back on grocery trips by uploading your receipt to Checkout 51.
4. Price match: Compare In-Store and Online Prices, Walmart will price match any product available in-store to its online price, so double check to see if there is a lower price online before jumping into the checkout line.
5. Online clearance: Search Clearance Items Online You can find many items that are marked down to clearance pricing.
