Today, I wanna write about women’s educational programs like how you can learn or update the skills that you need to start your business. To be honest, we move to Canada for working hard, face challenges and make a new life but the thing is you can have hope here and face challenges even love challenges cause you know that you are on the growth path.

First of all, you need to know that there are many different programs for women in Canada so get the benefit of them to educate yourself. Both colleges and universities are educational institutions that provide you with post-secondary education. Universities are made for teaching, research, science but if you wanna learn something more practical then you should go to college. Here you can find more about Ontario college’s programs.

NEWCOMER COMMUNITY INTEGRATION PROGRAM:

The Newcomer Community Integration Program (NCIP) is specifically designed to address barriers experienced by newcomer immigrant and refugee women and facilitates improved access and connections to supports and opportunities which foster social and economic integration into the Canadian Community.

YWCA: They provide many useful pieces of training like iOS & Android Mobile Application Developer or Terrazzo, Tile & Marble Setter or Painter Decorator and employment services.

TRIEC MENTORING PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM: How do you find that job? Where are the positions advertised? How do you build your professional network?

Business Office Skills Training: Business Office Skills is a free, 12-week full-time training program for women, offered in partnership with Centennial College and Neighbourhood Link Support Services, combining virtual instructor-led training and hands-on or remote experience in administrative and/or customer services positions. Participants complete a 100-hour work placement with partner agencies in the Toronto area. Upon completion, graduates receive transferable college credits and certification from Centennial College.

Women’s Employment Resource Centre: The Women’s Employment Resource Centre (W.E.R.C.) aims to provide visible minority newcomer women with the services and resources needed in order to fully integrate and contribute to the Canadian economy and their communities. Our goal is to provide a comfortable environment that welcomes diversity.
