How to launch a successful startup

Hi, welcome to my blog, and thanks for reading this post. If you are a new mom who is looking to launch a successful startup so you are in a right place! You know I had a burning desire to build my own startup but I also had responsibilities. Being a mom and growing a business is not easy but it is worthy; in my opinion being an entrepreneur mom not only is possible but also it’s the best idea because we are used to be multi-tasking, problem-solver and we know how to manage the budget 🙂 I believe the best time to start is after your kids ready to go to school.

  • The first step is writing many business ideas on a paper then think about them and try to match them with your knowledge and abilities. I, myself prefer online business cause you have flexible working time like kids nap time or working at night.
  • Next, you would think about your customers and consider some factors like age, gender, location, job, education, …
  • Then you need to prepare your business plan and register your business that I explained before.
  • Now everything is ready if you’d like to start an online business like photography, fitness trainer, home bakery, home daycare, bookkeeping, …
  • It’s really important to promote your business so first, you need to have a website then use social media and online ads to get more customers
  • Try to find the best price for your services or products and consider your expenses
  • Time management has a big role in an entrepreneur mom’s life so try to find some creative ways to keep your children busy like asking them to help you organize your office
  • Find a network of women in business, get support and grow your business

“Moms are the best negotiators. They are empathetic, they value other people’s talents and time, and they are the toughest people on the planet. Show me one mom who hasn’t had her life changed after spending the first night awake with her feverish baby, or navigated the hurt feelings that her child comes home with from the playground. Moms are, in short, badass bitches – but also they are the most comforting allies around. They are the perfect people to have in a business organization to get shit done and keep other people happy.”

“When I look back, I feel like I didn’t have enough confidence. I wish I had had more confidence to be myself, know who I was, and embrace who I was. In my twenties, I was too busy becoming another person, and in my thirties, I was too busy trying to impress other people. It wasn’t until my late forties that I found the confidence to truly be myself. If I could live again, that would be the one thing I would want to tell my younger self: Be confident to be yourself.”
